All the time can be logged in the Red Bird TD2 BATD simulator.  Maintain your instrument proficiency. Some of the logged time can be used for initial private, instrument and commercial training. It can also be used to practice emergency and unusual scenarios you might not want to perform in an airplane.     


Our Redbird TD2 is Equipped with Garmin G1000 and GFC700 autopilot OR 6 pack and GNS530.  Simulates C172, C182, and C182RG


2023 Pricing:  Only $50/hr.*.  Log approaches and instrument and VFR time.  $90/hr. with an instructor and log dual instruction time for part of your initial, instrument, or proficiency and currency.

Our Redbird TD/TD2 can simulate a standard 6 pack instrument display along with the Garmin GNS 530 as an alternative to the G1000 TAA display.  The 6 pack display is excellent for more challenging partial panels and standard CDI navigation.

The Garmin GNS 430/530 have been the mainstay of general aviation GPS navigation for many years and  still used today on many airplanes.  Learn how to make this wonderful device work for you.  Activate legs and insert waypoints. 


GFC 500/ GFC 700

The autopilot is nice to have in visual, VFR, weather.  In the single pilot instrument, IMC, environment the autopilot is an essential piece of equipment for pilot workload management.  The Garmin GNS 500/700 autopilot is rapidly becoming the mainstay of new instrument panels and found in many newer aircraft. 

Hands on learning of of how these capable autopilots make flying safer and flying more fun.  We have working simulators for both of these units interfaced with Standard HSI, Single or dual G5, or G1000 displays.
